Wander and Explore

Setting an intention to grow a garden of insight, and to cultivate paths through that garden as they emerge.

Garden metaphor was offered in opposition to social and conventional media streams. It invites emergence. See A Year in the Garden.

We will grow our garden with Tiny Habits.

Wander. Make note of surprises along the way.

Explore. Charter an exploration. Make note of surprises along the way.

Both activities collect samples and seeds for the garden. We predict a difference in feeling between the wanderings and the explorations characterized by the sense of purpose in the charter for explorations and the openness in the wanderings.

We will also need to Reflect and Revise as the garden grows to develop the connections of meaning and to find the guided journeys (e.g. stories) we can share with others.

Tiny habits call to mind the Rhythm in RAMPS. RAMPS offers another frame for human motivation. See Rhythm Autonomy Mastery Purpose Safety.
